TFT Display info - Printable Version

TFT Display info - Steve1506 - 20-10-2017

I have now got my Rx & TX running and updated with the latest  software releases. Please can someone explain what the three coloured dots indicate. In earlier releases there were only 2 which I did understand as I found a description on the forum

Hi Steve,

The new coloured dot on the top right corner warns about the availability of a new software version.
A green dot means that the installed software is up to date with the latest software, when the dot is yellow means that there is a new software version available.

Thanks for the information thats a bit strange as I have the latest software loaded RX v4.1_b006 but i have a Yellow dot in the Right corner of the display the other two change state from Red to Green but mostly Green.

If my memories are good, in the top left corner is the wifi connection.
The one below is the internet connection for the NTP for example.

Hi Steve,

Check the Latitude and Longitude settings in your config file

Latitude is from -90.000 to 90.000
Longitude is from -180.000 to 180.000

Top dot - NTP connection
Middle dot - Wunderground upload
Bottom dot - Software Version Check

 All fixed the lat long was not in the correct format. Re entered them and now 3 green dots the latest software available is displayed along with the software that is loaded. Need to work on all my sensors now and box them up ready to go on the pole. Many Thanks for your help
