I remember seeing a post a little while back where Werk said one just needed to connect a wire from the Tx to the Rx, but I do not know how far of a wire that will work over.

That might have been my unit, where there is a wire between the RX and WD units (not between the TX and RX units).

That post, as said by spudstrawb is about how to conect a Wireless Display unit to a Receiver unit, not about a wired version of the WeatherDuino Pro 2.
