Werk,
It has now booted and I like the new look and it tells me that the RF efficiency is 80%.
I am now trying to connect to Cumulus MX, could you please advise how that is achieved
Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim,
Are you joking? You should know the answer.
The Pro2 PLUS works exactly the same way than the Pro2.
Pro2 PLUS screen display -

Hi,
To allow me to understand the system better and save me putting annoying questions on the forum could you explain the
following features;
(a) the two colored dots to the left of the time display
(b) the com led
The reason I ask is that the new Rx was operating perfectly but now has the dots both red and no data is going to the WD's or W underground. I have rebooted to no avail. I assumed it was receiving data from the Tx as it got "W" "D" and then went to the weather screen, but no green lights
I reverted to the original Rx and all is good, so the Tx would appear to be OK
Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim,
This is a good question, because until now I did not have the opportunity to talk about this on the forum. Considering the relevance of the question, I create a new thread about this matter. Please refer to it here:

Quote:(b) the com led
On the Pro2 PLUS, the COM_LED have exactly the same function than in all previous Pro2 receiver units, already described in several topics on the forum, however I will describe its function again.
At startup the COM_LED remains ON, until the system receives data from the outside sensors (Temperature / Humidity, Wind, and Rain), also giving you a visual signal to not attempt to start the weather software yet (Cumulus or any other).
After system initialization, the COM_LED goes off, and you could start your favourite weather software, then the COM_LED will blink every time the your weather software requests a data packet (more or less at each second) to the WeatherDuino receiver.
