Hi...i am a new user here. As per my knowledge the only work around is adding support for the SHT31 on the RX and WD software. It's possible that at some point in the future I will do it, but I can't say when. For use inside the house, the HTU21D is a really good and precise sensor.

Hello.
The current software does support it. I am using an SHT-35 on my WirelessDisplay.

Can I use a SHT 35 D for an outside temp and RH sensor with the SHT 31 library

I never tested an SHT35D, so I can't say it works or not, but seems that some users are using it successfully.
Be aware that some sensors come with I2C address 0x45 by default, so you may need to change it on the sensor module or in the software.
