I purchased a new 7911 anemometer for an older Davis Weather Wizard III. The new anemometer has a RJ11 size plug and the old anemometer has a RJ45 size plug. Is there any way to make the new anemometer work?

Once you know the pinout of both of your anemometers you could replace the RJ11 connector of the new anemometer by an RJ45.
