If I may give an opinion: forget WU and switch to WeatherCloud.
It's also free with free tools.
With the software you use, I think you can emulate your stations:

Hello, tobyportugal,
Thank you and yes, I have been using it for more than 3 years (but WU from 2015)...

Hello Toby,
Welcome!
I'm glad to see you here again.
Native upload to WeatherCloud (as it does now for WU) may be a future feature on WeatherDuino weather stations.
Anyway, it can always be done through most of common weather software, as CumulusMX .
Regards

Good morning
I could be wrong WC is currently the only multi-brand network that does not block free requests.
With WU, it works more.

Example 2 :

I'm a member of Wunderground since 2013, along this period in several occasions I sent them emails, asking info on something. As much as I can remember, I never ever got an answer from them.
Last Sunday, I send an email to WeatherCloud support team, requesting some kind of info, which can't be answered without some personal attention to my request.
Surprisingly, today, less than 24 hours after I sent my email, WeatherCloud support team reply me, answering with what I asked for, besides even more detailed info than I asked.
Maybe WU was been "the only one" for too much time!
WU used to be a lot better, the IBM takeover did not help. Perhaps it is time for a change or at least another option.

Fully agree, after the IBM takeover, WU changed their focus... on every new change more an more the personal weather stations lost relevance, in prol of a weather site mainly focused to general public.
I wonder if they will continue to only show Air Quality data for those who have the Purple Air (a partner of WU) sensor? And the other players, will continue to be excluded?
When they have announced the end of the free API Key, even to those who send data to them for free (decision which they ended up reverting) I started to reduce the data upload frequency to WU. On that time, I reduced it to just every 30 minutes, latter when they reverted the decision about the API Key, I increased the upload frequency again to every 5 minutes, currently I'm doing it at each 10 minutes.
I like WU, but more and more I feel that for them, each of us, don't count for anything.
Hi laulau,
I also noticed the lack of data on the same period. I think that due to the release of their new API, they are doing some changes on the structure.
There are WeatherDuino weather stations in Australia and New Zealand which also shown lack of data on the same period of time (UTC). So seems it was a global issue. Hopefully will not happen often.
Hello,
They have had 2 major breakdowns this week, from memory this is the second time since I started using WC.
