I think the double wall pipe has merit.
Well I decided to make my own version of the
<Apogee Fan Assisted Radiation Shield>.
I'm lucky to have build a simple CNC machine so it was very straightforward to make but also without such a machine I think.
It's triple shielded and I need to paint it high gloss white OR use 'mirror adhesive foil'
Also It needs a large top cover plate.
The air is drawn from bottom to the top and by using smaller holes there is also airflow between the tubes to prevent heat building up. If needed I can add some foam on the outside of the 50mm tube.
I think the design will work after studying the Apogee and R.M. Young FAR shields.
When finished and performing well, I will make it a project on <
my Hackster page>

Today I've received my new aspirated radiation shield - not DIY, but it made by professionals
from Hunan RIKA Electronic Technology:
I will change my old SHT21 sensor and my old DIY shield with this new one and SHT31
in the next weeks - I am already looking forward ...

I'm really liking your design, unfortunately I don't have access to a CNC router, I do have access to a lasercutter though, See my progress so far below..

Wow, that is amazing! You could build this with a scrollsaw also but a CNC or Lasercutter is much easier and the result you show here is fantastic!
