If you notice that your receiver is having issues with WU. There's no need to start chasing the issue as it's at their end.
Lately WU is doing some bad moves. Since two week they stopped to give free API keys even to the people that are giving them data for free (all of us). I'm following the discussions on USA. There many angry people with that policy, and hundreds have already canceled their WU account, others in Europe are going even a step further, using the recent laws of personal data protection, are requesting them to delete all previous data.
For now, the free API keys already issued continue to work.
If my free API key will stop to work I will also cancel my WU account. I give them data for free since the last 4 years, which they sell to other companies. I don't need WU for anything, so if its a war, lets start the war!

Hello,

It is identical in Davis with Weatherlink 2.0:

Just a heads up that some of us with the Pro2+ receivers are showing a Red indicator for WU uploads.
Data is being uploaded correctly but WU isn't giving a return response so the indicator is Red.

Also to note, WU seems to be dropping the AQM data too for those who are sending it.

And here. Definitely regressive step.

I may stop uploading next Rx upgrade. If I lose access to my historical data until I pay for it then it will be an immediate reconfiguration to stop sending.

I contacted them, no answer yet.
Perhaps it worth contact them, and see what they have to say about it.
I have the feeling that WU is losing its original sense.
Hello,

My RX is updated to the latest released published, but the WU sign remains red, though the data have always been transmitted correctly on their Website.

Werk, I believe the last software version was to correct this minor issue?

Thanks,
Zitoune
Hi Zitoune,

It will be fixed, when things at WU settle down.
Got it - thank you Werk.
