Toby, as you seem to like the SHARP dust sensors, give a look at this one:


Its a updated version of the GP2Y1010AU0F, which does not work satisfactorily without a fan.

Yes, I know that a fan is needed, I am on an assembly “off-set” in one 7714 (+ fan with the top of the sensor) like this one:
