I've been searching for hours and cannot locate the pinout for FO wind vane and FO wind speed sensors. I found an excellent illustration with pictures for Davis wind sensors in this sub-forum
here but for the life of me I cannot find similar pictures or diagrams for FO sensors. The sensors I purchased are supposed to be replacements for the WS1080.

Yes it looks like those. The problem is there is only 1 port for the wind and I have 2 cords each with their own RJ11. I'll have to cut the ends off and somehow combine them into a single RJ12, but I need to know the pinout in order to do that.

Just check the wind vane, normally the anemometer plugs into the bottom of the wind vane and the wire from the wind vane carries both signals to the TX board. (Or vice versa I cannot remember which.) See picture here,

If my searching is correct I've adjusted the trim pot to 10.01K ohms, that was the closest I could get it to 10k after many tries, and I have to find a shorting jumper out of one of my old PC's for JP2 because I'm using FO wind sensors.
Just waiting on a few more bits from china and then figure out how to arrange the boards in their enclosures with the wiring. Biggest challenge is going to be the solar power setup for the temp sensor. Should be interesting.
Eventually I plan on getting the Inspeed wind speed and vane and probably a Davis rain bucket, but for now the FO sensors will work.
I'm more concerned with the temp record anyway so I got a SHT31 sensor for that. And for now it'll be mounted in a davis solar shield until I can figure out a FARS setup for it. But the FARS depends on the batteries and recharging with solar power so all of that needs to get worked out first. :-)
Ok My replies are a little delayed, but above will also power a FARS in addition to tx board, tx board has an out put for FARS. (Davis fan is I think 3v so will need to change voltage if you use that fan.
